Day 1 - Lisbon, Portugal
Arrive in Lisbon, where you are met and transferred to your
hotel in the city center. Tonight, join your Resident Tour
Director and fellow guests for a welcome reception and
dinner.
Day 2 - Lisbon
Begin your day with an introduction to Lisbon, exploring
some of the city’s many highlights, stopping to admire the
Jeronimos Monastery with its Manueline-style architecture,
and then visiting the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. Tonight,
experience the magic of Portugal’s ancient Fado tradition
over dinner.
Day 3 - Sintra
Travel just outside Lisbon today to Sintra, designated a
UNESCO World Heritage Site for its stunning 19th-century
monuments. Explore the National Palace of Portugal, the
best-preserved medieval royal residence in the country, and
then proceed to the Pena Palace, decorated with vivid colors
and evocative stone carvings. Return to Lisbon for time at
leisure.
Day 4 - Barcelona, Spain
Leave Lisbon for a private exploration of one of Portugal’s
oldest wineries. After lunch, fly by private charter aircraft to
sunny Barcelona. Take in the views from the hill of Montjuïc,
and then ride the cable car to the port and savor dinner
beside the sea before checking in to your hotel.
Day 5 - Barcelona
Discover the groundbreaking works of Catalan architect
Antoni Gaudí, including Casa Batlló and La Pedrera as well
as the Sagrada Família, a spectacular basilica begun in 1882
and still not entirely completed. Enjoy your afternoon at
leisure, perhaps stopping for lunch in the Central Market,
also known as La Boqueria, free to explore the city. Tonight,
gather for a flavorful tapas experience and a flamenco
performance.
Day 6 - Figueres
Travel overland to Figueres, where you are guided through
the Salvador Dalí Theater-Museum, designed by Dalí himself
and considered the world’s largest surrealist object. Continue
to Girona, a city that boasts Romanesque towers, medieval
stone ramparts and a cathedral with the widest Gothic nave
in the world. Explore the charming old Jewish Quarter and
visit the medieval Arab baths before returning to Barcelona.
Day 7 - Naples, Italy/Sorrento
Fly by private charter aircraft to Naples. On arrival, enter
the historic city center for lunch at a traditional Neapolitan
pizzeria. Afterward, visit the National Archaeological
Museum to view many of the treasures excavated from
Pompeii and Herculaneum. Later, travel to the coastal town
of Sorrento and settle into your hotel, where you enjoy a
relaxing Scenic Sundowner experience overlooking the
glittering Gulf of Naples.
Day 8 - Amalfi Coast
Indulge in the many splendors of the Amalfi Coast today.
In the hilltop town of Ravello, take part in a cooking class,
and then sample the local dishes you’ve helped create for
lunch. Proceed on a drive to colorful Amalfi itself, before
embarking by ferry on a coastal cruise back to Sorrento,
absorbing postcard-perfect seascapes along the way.
Day 9 - Sorrento
This morning, visit a local organic farm, strolling through
their garden to see how it showcases the local biodiversity
and basking in the sun-warmed scents of aromatic herbs.
Gather in the on-site dairy to learn how traditional fresh
mozzarella is crafted by participating in a hands-on
demonstration. Then, taste the delicious results accompanied
by an aperitif, concluding this delightful Chef’s Table
experience. Return to Sorrento for an afternoon at leisure,
free to hike the rugged hills, visit the lyrical island of Capri
or simply relax.
Day 10 - Pompeii & Dubrovnik, Croatia
Journey to historic Pompeii to explore this UNESCO World
Heritage Site, where the daily life of ancient Italy was frozen
in time by ash and debris from an eruption of nearby Mount
Vesuvius in AD 79. Fly by privately chartered aircraft to
Dubrovnik, where you settle into your luxurious hotel, and
then enjoy dinner.
Day 11 - Dubrovnik
Start your day by observing silk weavers at work in Konavle
who practice an intricate craft handed down through the
generations. After lunch, stroll in Dubrovnik with your local
guide to see the Franciscan monastery, Dubrovnik Cathedral
and the Rector’s Palace, a masterpiece of secular architecture.

Tonight, gather for a farewell dinner.
Day 13 - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your
departing flight.
